Sushil Jindal arrived in Surat in 1993 as a yarn agent, having moved from Haryana to be part of a city he could see was rising. He set up his first texturising unit in 2003, and opened Jindal Polyweaves in 2006. Two decades on, he still sets direction across the group — from machine investments and process upgrades to the people brought in to run them. He works by a simple principle: dream, create, inspire, then back the team that turns it into output. Every new vertical — films, digital printing, lab-grown diamonds, lifestyle — has happened on his watch.
